Natchez Clay studios are located in a recently renovated building on the bluffs of the Mississippi River. Studio spaces have large windows that provide wonderful natural light. There is a large green space overlooking the river where we often gather for watching the sunset. The community spirit at Natchez Clay makes it a wonderful place to learn and share our passion for clay.

Thanks to friend and fellow potter, Tom Hughes, we recently added a library to the studio. Tom graciously donated his 30-year collection of pottery books along with a complete archive of Ceramics Monthly magazines from 1971 through 2008.
Our kiln yard is a covered area at the back of the property and is equipped with a Geil gas kiln, an L&L electric kiln, and a raku kiln (also built and donated by Tom Hughes.) Additions to the new studio include a spray booth, pugmill and slab roller.
There are several ways to join our community at Natchez Clay. We invite you to choose the best way for you to join us.

Shared Studio Space
Shared studio space is spacious and well lighted. The shared studio space includes wheels, large work tables covered with Hardi backer board, wedging table and storage shelving. Studio members have 24 hour access to the studio.
