Amanda teaching teen summer classes.
Amanda Jeansonne was a part-time school teacher when she started working in clay at our studio in 2003. Studying under Conner Burns, she developed a strong sense of form while adding graceful beauty to each piece. Amanda is locally famous for her wonderful birdhouses, as well as her vessels, mugs, tumblers...well...all of her pieces! Her work is available for sale at Dunleith and the ArtsNatchez Gallery in Natchez.
Amanda teaches our Teen Artist classes and is teaching the winter intermediate class with Conner Burns. She also heads up our Empty Bowls event and is a private studio member at Natchez Clay.

Nathalie Harris is also a former school teacher who came to Natchez Clay as a student. While Nathalie enjoys throwing on the wheel, her true spirit comes out in her handbuilt work. Her love of nature is almost always reflected in her pieces whether it be a carefully constructed dragonfly added to a pot or a whimsical handbuilt bird in a nest. Her delicate porcelain ornaments are available at Dunleith Gift Shop in Natchez. She shares her love of pottery with her son, Brad, who is also a studio member at Natchez Clay.
Nathalie teaches Handbuilding classes which have been a huge hit this year. She also teachers our Kids Clay classes where the students benefit from her teaching background, her creativity with clay and her love of children. Nathalie is a shared studio member at Natchez Clay.
