Natchez Clay is located at 101 Clifton Avenue in beautiful downtown Natchez, Mississippi. Natchez is the oldest continuous settlement on the Mississippi River. Our fair city boasts one of the largest collections of antebellum homes in the country and offers visitors a destination rich in history and southern hospitality.
You may want to arrive a few days early or leave a day late for your Natchez Clay workshop so that you can enjoy the beauty of charm of Natchez. Travel and tourism magazines rate Natchez hotels and bed & breakfasts as some of the state's finest.
To get to the studio, follow these instructions:
Traveling South on Hwy 61:
Hwy 61S becomes Devereux Drive then a bit farther into town becomes Jefferson Street. Follow Jefferson St. down until you have to turn on Broadway.Take a right on Broadway and go to end of the street until you have to turn on Madison. Our driveway is right across the street. Entrance is in the back of the building.
Traveling North on Hwy 61:
At the first large intersection, follow signs to Mississippi River bridge. This will put you on John R. Junkin Drive. Right before the bridge there is an intersection at the Visitor Center. Take a right at this intersection onto Canal St. Follow Canal until it runs into Madison and take a left. Our studio is 2 blocks down on the right. Current road construction may keep you from traveling the last block of Canal. If so, take a left on Jefferson St. and go one block to Broadway. Take a right on Broadway and go to the end of the street until you have to turn on Madison. Our driveway is right across the street. Entrance is in the back of the building.
Traveling from Louisiana:
Come through Vidalia, LA and cross the bridge into Natchez. Take a left at the first red light onto Canal Street. Follow Canal until it runs into Madison and take a left. Our studio is 2 blocks down on the right. Current road construction may keep you from traveling the last block of Canal. If so, take a left on Jefferson St. and go one block to Broadway. Take a right on Broadway and go to the end of the street until you have to turn on Madison. Our driveway is right across the street. Entrance is in the back of the building.
