Mary Baugh

Mary is a native Floridian and has spent the last 4 years in Greenville, South Carolina attending Furman University. At Furman she completed a BA in Studio Art and a minor in Art History. At Furman she was the President of the Art Students League and station manager for the student-run radio station. She has interned with the American Craft Council and studied in Cortona, Italy with the University of Georgia.

Her work has been exhibited at Genesse Pottery in upstate New York, the University of Georgia, and the University of Florida and can currently be seen in downtown Natchez at ArtsNatchez.

Mary's senior body of work at Furman explored the movement of forms by throwing and altering functional pieces. She hopes to continue her exploration of functional ware during her time in Natchez.

Email or check her blog for mostly art, and sometimes musing about life.
